I'm on a mission to take families from drowning-in-digitals to artwork that wraps their home in BEAUTY & BELONGING
the lens and your dedicated Melbourne
child, family, and women photographer.
I came to Australia from India at the sweet young age of 17. I met and married my husband in Adelaide, where we lived for 12 years.
In 2012, we moved to Perth, which became our home for 13 beautiful years until recently where life has led our to Melbourne, our next chapter that we are deeply excited about.
I love being surrounded by everything art, beauty and the wilderness – it’s what makes me feel alive! On weekends, you’ll often find us wandering the long walking tracks in the Dandenong Ranges with our senior chocolate lab – Nika, soaking in the peace that nature brings.
My photography is where I pour my love for
art and wild places into HUMAN STORIES.
There is something about witnessing family love
within the rhythm of nature – two powerful
forces, forever changing yet eternal.
Every move, from India to Adelaide, Adelaide to Perth, then Perth to Melbourne, has meant packing bags, starting fresh, and leaving a little piece of my story behind. But what’s always stayed are the photographs. The ones printed, framed, and tangible. They’ve become my way of keeping the people I love close, even when oceans apart.

I want your artwork to wrap your home in the same art, beauty
and sense of calm I find in the wilderness.
I've got an eye for
print and design
Photographing your family is just the beginning. The real magic happens when
those images are brought to life in print.
What truly completes your session is seeing those moments become part of your
everyday life.
I have always been drawn to art that lives on walls. And after years of photogra-
phing families, I know this: your images deserve more than a folder on a hard drive.
With my background in art and design, I carefully curate and design heirloom pieces
that feel cohesive, refined, and deeply personal to your home. From albums that tell
your family’s story, to statement wall art that makes your heart skip a beat.
After your session, we meet for a dedicated Design Appointment where I guide you
through selecting your favourite images and creating artwork that feels intentional
and preserves your legacy for generations.
I believe in
01.
bringing boredom back
Not the restless, scrolling kind — the quiet kind.
The kind where there’s space to think, to daydream.
We’re so used to filling every spare second, but boredom
is the catalyst for personal reflection, getting us closer to our
inner self. Sometimes doing “nothing” is exactly what we need.
02.
we all deserve beauty
I believe in filling our homes with beautiful
things that make us happy. Modern life is
demanding. Art nurtures. When we surround
ourselves with what’s meaningful, we create a refuge, a
place that is restorative and feels like therapy for the soul.
03.
storytelling
Whether it is done through a song, film,
writing, art or told to a small group of friends
around a campfire with drinks in hand. I love storytelling
and laughter and the emotions that come with it.
04.
people who smile at strangers
People who have smiles available when they pass
strangers on the sidewalk, I think they are awesome.

BEAUTY & BELONGING
Hey, I’m Suri, the storyteller behind the lens and your dedicated Melbourne child, family, and women photographer.
I came to Australia from India at the sweet young age of 17. I met and married my husband in Adelaide, where we lived for 12 years.

But what’s always stayed are the photographs. The ones printed, framed, and tangible. They’ve become my way of keeping the people I love close, even when oceans apart.
That’s why I care so deeply about helping families turn their memories into artwork they can live with every single day. I’ve seen the joy that printed photos bring! Kids light up when they see themselves on the wall, and parents smile, proud of the love they’ve built together.
I want your artwork to wrap your
home in the same art, beauty and
sense of calm I find in the wilderness.
